The Vice Chairman if Kogi Local Government would from tommorow begin to act as the Chairman of the Local Government pending the determination of the case against the Chairman.
The decision was reached by 9 out of the 11 Councillors who sat and directed the Vice chairman, Hon Hassanat Jezhi to act as the Chairman.
The Council leader Khadijat Yahaya have also called for calm and advised the Acting Chairman to be loyal and play to the rules of Gov. Yahaya Bello and the new direction administration.
Recalled that the Council Chairman, Hon. Abdulkareem Isah was yesterday suspended by the Kogi State House of Assembly and the Vice Chairman directed to take charge.
