Esan People in Edo Central Senatorial District have dissociated themselves from the demonic video in circulation by a former appointee of the Edo State government.
Those who spoke included Barrister Mathew Edaghese (a renowned legal practitioner), Hon. Frank Okiye (former Speaker-Edo State House of Assembly), Hon. Victor Edoror (former Speaker – Edo State House of Assembly), Arch. Mike Onolememen(a former Minister of Works) spoke with me in a telephone conversation that the lunatic that originated the video on social media is on his own and he has no backing of the Esan people who hold our revered monarch, the Oba of Benin, in high esteem.
The young man didn’t speak the mind of Esan people and he is a confirmed bastard as they stated during the telephone conversation with me. He was vehemently disowned.
“He is speaking for his paymasters and not the Esan People,” they echoed.
They also stated that their loyalty and love still remains with the Oba of Benin and the Benin People, adding that the historic link between the Esans and the Benins will sustain for eternity.
