… Solicits prayers to surmount challenges facing the union
The Kogi State Chairman of the Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees, NULGE, Comr. Tade Adeyemi has sent a message of Felicitation to Muslim faithful, urged the Ummah in the State particularly members of NULGE to continue to join hands in prayers to move the union, state and the country to a greater heights.
In his Eid-el-Kabir message, the NULGE Chairman said while the season calls for sober reflection, urged the ummah to thank God for the gift of life
According to Comr Tade Adeyemi, “I congratulate the Muslim Ummah on this year’s Eid-El-Kabir, which has pleased Almighty Allah for us to be part of.
“I sincerely appeal to the faithful to harness their thoughts and energies in prayers towards efforts needed to once again make the Local Government a place of envy like it used to be in the past.
” Without mincing words, this is not the best of time for us as a union when juxtaposed with our challenges but I’m optimistic of light at the end of the tunnel”.
” I am however proud to say that the Muslim faithful are exemplars in exhibiting the true teachings of Islam which they practice in their daily dealings. I therefore appeal to the Muslim Community to continue to join hands with people of other faith to maintain the prevalent peace in our state.”
” As we celebrate this period. It is my utmost expectations for us that we would collectively working together and in prayers surmount our challenges.
” Once again, accept my Felicitation on the celebration of this year’s Eid El Kabir, as I pray that God Almighty in his infinite mercies, make us see many more years of celebration in peace and prosperity”, he concluded.
