A Chieftain of All progressive Congress (APC) in Kogi State, Hon. Sulaiman Baba Ali has said that he has not taken decision yet on 2023 Governorship of Kogi State.
Recalled that there was a Clarion call by various groups urging the one-time Commissioner of health to join the 2023 guber race.
In a press released signed by Ali and obtained by the Nigerianpost on Monday in Lokoja, he said no decision has been taken on the issue of 2023 Governorship slot amidst Clarion calls by well wishers across the State
Ali thanked all the stakeholders who see him as a candle of Hope and assured them of his determination to continue to contribute his quota towards the development of Kogi state as he’s doing presently.
” We still have about two years for the election. I’m now engaged in my present assignment in Abuja, however I want to use this medium to appreciate all the various groups for the confidence and trust reposed on, by seeing me as capable and worthy of leading our dear state.
“I want to sincerely appreciate all the various groups, let us join hands and straighten our party, the All progressive Congress, ahead of 2023 so that we can come out stronger
I am determined to do my best at any capacity I find myself in moving the state forward now and in the future. For now, I have a very crucial assignment in Abuja. Once again, I thank you for your concern” Ali said.
