
The Kogi State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Hon. Wemi Jones has sent message of Congratulations to Muslim Faithfuls in the State on the celebration of Eid El Fitri.
Hon. Wemi Jones in a statement enjoined the faithfuls to sustain the gains and ideals of ramadan, insisting that the spiritual benefit cannot be quantified.
While congratulating Muslims for successfully observing the holy month of Ramadan, Hon. Wemi said, “I call on Muslims to live in peace with one another irrespective of differences. As they celebrate Eid-el-Fitr, they should uphold the vital lessons of love, peace and perseverance which the holy month teaches.
“I also urge Muslims to pray for the nation’s leaders to remain focus in the discharge of their duties for the overall interest of Nigerians. Most importantly, I call for religious tolerance to engender peaceful co-existence, unity and a prosperous Nigeria.
Hon. Wemi congratulated Gov Yahaya Bello and all Muslims for witnessing yet another Celebration, prayed God to answer their prayers and supplication.
