… Says improved welfare, panacea to greater service delivery.
The Managing Director of Lounge One, has felicitated with workers on the commemoration of the 2021 International Workers’ Day celebration, says improve welfare of workers, panacea for greater Service delivery.
The MD in a message made available to Newsmen to mark the day, said despite the trying times in the country occasioned by the incessant cases of insecurity and other economic challenges, praised the Nigerian workers for there sacrifices and patriotism.
The Hon. Ukwenya commended Kogi State workers at all levels both in the private and public sector for their commitment and dedication to work over the years said despite the challenges, there selfless service has helped shaped the economy.
In his words, Hon. Ukwenya said: “I want to salute your dedication and patriotic services over the years for always given your best to your work irrespective of the challenges that abound”.
Indeed, I’m proud of you especially that your activities that has added value socially and economically. I hope and Urged that you will continue to sustain the patriotic sacrifice to our fatherland.
“I urge us to use this medium to please redouble our efforts at this time of our national development. You must continue to put in your best in the work that you do for the betterment of Kogi State and Nigerian at large” He added.
The MD called on Nigerian workers to be more productive now and always, saying that what was achieved before now must be sustained and improved upon, Urged Government at various levels to improve on wages and salaries.
While wising workers a spirit filled celebration, he charged them to be proud of their work, called for more dedication and patriotism saying that the challenges of the moment will one day be over if government remains committed to improved welfare of workers and security of lives and properties.
