A close look at leadership from my last episode on leadership theories clearly shows that the psychology of leadership has multifaceted interpretations. What is it that makes some people excel in leadership roles? These theories explain how and why certain people becomes leaders,
1. One of such theorie is called ”Great man theory” If you have ever heard someone described as ”born to rule” this view believes that great leaders are simply born with the necessary internal characteristics. Check the pix you will see that GYB and ATI both possess such charisma like confidence, intelligence and social skills that make them natural born leaders.
2. ”Contingency theories”- this type of leadership focuses on environmental variables that might determine style of leadership that best suit a particular situations. GYB and ATI are leaders who are able to assess the needs of their followers take stock of the situations and then adjust their behaviour accordingly.
3.”Relationship theories”–Also known as transformational theories focus upon the connection formed between leaders and followers. Transformational leaders motivate and inspire people by helping group members to grow. GYB and ATI are contemporal leaders who have used this leadership style to transform the lives of their followers and help them fulfil their potentials.
Today every AYB foundation members have enjoyed this leadership style of HE GYB,. ATI has also used this style to benefit the lots of his followers.
Today many young vibrant believers of GYB like CEDO, DGov, Alhaji Taufiq Isa ATI, Hon. Asiwaju Ashiru FCIB, Hon. Asuku COS, Hon. Fanwo the erudite information expert, who are foundation members of AYB can attest to this leadership style of His Excellency.
It is noteworthy that these foundation structure of AYB be maintained to handle the state after HE promotion and continue the good leadership style of the Youngest, women friendly and youth friendly governor.
