An Aspirant for the next governorship election in Kogi State, under the platform of the All Progressives Congress APC Prince Dayo Akanmode has felicitated with Muslims on this year’s Ramadan.
Prince Akanmode in a statement made available to Newsmen in Lokoja the State Capital urged them to use the Ramadan people to reflect on their lives and pray for a better Kogi State.
The Governorship hopeful in the statement said “onbehalf of my family and my political platform THE NUCLEUS, I felicitate with our Muslim brothers and sisters on the occassion of the Ramadan. It is a period that calls for stock taken and sober reflection. My prayer is that this time will be spent especially those in leadership position and those aspiring to be leaders to imbibe the tenets that this period symbolize which include, tolerance,forgiveness, accountability and fsacrifice.”
“There is no doubt that our country is undergoing very challenging and traumatic period occassioned by greed, insensitivity and arrogance of power. My prayer is for us to come out better at the end of this season.” He added.
