COVID-19: NIGERIAN FRUITS SELLERS ASSOCIATION PLEDGES SUPPORT FOR FG FIGHT AGAINST COVID-19.

The Chairman of the Nigeria fruits sellers Association Zuba, Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, Hon. Ibrahim Talba has promised the Association’s readiness and determination to compliments the federal Government efforts in the fight against the deadly corona virus.
Hon.Talba, who was represented by the Chief security officer of the market Mr Daniel Owoche, disclosed this to the press in his Zuba fruits market office recently, according to the chairman, the surge in the deaths arising from corona virus related cases has confirmed the reality of the pandemic and since it’s an airborne disease, hence the need to contained it spread.
 He also noted that, the market authority was doing all they could to ensure strict compliance to the safety measures outlined by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), adding that washing hands basins are also been positioned at all the entrance of the market with detergent and sanitizer attached for all buyers and sellers for regular washing of hands.
The market also has it taskforce team positioned at all the entry points to ensure the compulsory wearing of face marks by any person coming for business is enforced, he added.
 Hon.Ibrahim further commended the federal capital territory authority, for the ongoing road construction to ensure unhindered access to the market, appealed for speedy completion before the next rainy season.
