CONSEQUENT UPON THE RESOLUTION ARRIVED AT IN THE LAST MANAGEMENT MEETING OF
THE NATIONAL YOUTH COUNCIL OF NIGERIA, KOGI STATE CHAPTER
On the commencement of transition process for all the NYCN local government chapters, exception of
Bassa, Yagba West and Lokoja LGA.
The State Executive Council of NYCN has approved the appointment
of a nine man transition and congress planning committee Comprising of past State Chairmen and representatives of state excos and observers as follows:
1. Comr. Haron Oputu -Chairman
2. Comr. Bala Ibrahim – Vice Chairman
3. Engr. Godwin S.B. Emmanuel- PRO
4. Comr. Suleiman Maiza Faroq – Director Congress planning and contacts
5. Comr. Dansebe Muhammad – Secretary
6. Comr. Eniola Olayemi- Financial Secretary
7. Comr. Shina Olaniyan- Member
8. Patience Balogun – Member
9. Garba Yakubu Gowon- Man’O war Rep
The Chairman of the council charged the committee to discharge their duties without fear or favour
with a workable timetable for the process with one week.
The management also resolves that the former coordinators who by virtues of their new assignment
been elevated, should with immediate effect handover all vehicles and other youth council properties in their possession to the acting coordinator of their respective local government. Is it expected that
the acting coordinators should assembly these vehicles at the state secretariat for repairs and onward national assignment.
