Women leader seeks wider support for a Nigerian girl as Miss Grand USA

A former governorship aspirant and women leader, Princess Grace Iye Adejoh has called for international support for a Nigerian girl and a U.S. military Logistics Specialist, Miss Victoria Oluwakotanmi who is contesting for Miss Grand USA
In a press statement made available to newsmen in lokoja, the women leader said Miss Victoria Oluwakotanmi has been using her international platform to show case Nigerian rich cultures and to promote peace, unity and an end to violence in the world
She said at a time when conflict, division and violence continue to affect communities around the world, the call for peace has never been more important than now saying miss Victoria is a promoter of peace and peaceful co-existence among different races in the world
“That is why I am calling on Nigerians, Americans, Africans, members of the Nigerian diaspora and people of goodwill everywhere to support Victoria Oluwakotanmi, Miss Grand USA 2026, as she uses her international platform to promote peace, unity and an end to violence.
“Victoria is a proud Nigerian-American representing the United States on the international stage. Her story represents the connection between Africa and America and demonstrates how different cultures, communities and experiences can come together through service and purpose.
“Her accomplishments are equally inspiring. She is a U.S. military Logistics Specialist, a Chemical Engineering student, a classically trained singer and pianist, an entrepreneur, and the founder of a nonprofit providing scholarships, mentorship and leadership opportunities to young people.”
The women leader said the contestant’s journey reflects service, education, resilience, creativity and purpose stressing that beyond her achievements is a message that deserves to be heard as she is an apostle of peace
“When humanity calls for peace, should we first ask about someone’s nationality, race, religion or cultural background? No
” Peace should not be limited by borders. Compassion should not be determined by nationality. The desire to see people live without fear and violence should unite us all.
“Victoria’s Nigerian-American identity gives her a unique opportunity to speak across cultures and communities. Her voice can serve as a bridge between Africa and America while carrying a message that belongs to the entire world.
“This is why I am asking communities, organizations, business leaders, philanthropists, families and individuals to stand with her.

Princess Adejoh said the support is about giving a young Nigerian-American woman an opportunity to use an international platform to carry a message that belongs to all of humanity.
