The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Kogi State on Grassroots Mobilization (South-South), Hon. Lucky Oba, has called on supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nagazi Ward, Adavi Local Government Area, to give their unflinching support to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Hon. Oba made the call while addressing Ward Executives, stakeholders, women and youth groups as well as elected representatives at Nagazi community in Adavi Local Government Area.
According to him, his visit to Nagazi was to familiarize himself with party faithful following his recent appointment as Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Grassroots Mobilization.
He stressed the need for aggressive mobilization from the grassroots to secure maximum support for the Governor, noting that Governor Ododo has performed creditably within the lifespan of his administration, particularly in human and infrastructural development.
Hon. Oba advocated for synergy between APC supporters in Zango Daji and Nagazi communities to make Nagazi Ward emerge first in terms of votes cast for the party, especially as the local government election and the 2027 general elections draw near.
In their separate remarks, the Councillor representing Nagazi Ward, Hon. Abdulrasaq Onukoko, the APC Ward Chairman, Hon. Ibrahim Mohammed, his Vice, Hon. Abdulkareem Yusuf, popularly known as Kery, and the Adavi APC Woman Leader, Hajia Hauwa Ibrahim, commended Governor Ododo for appointing Hon. Lucky Oba.
They described him as a grassroots politician and mobilizer who is moving round communities and villages to galvanize support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Ododo.
They pledged their total and unalloyed support to work closely with the Senior Special Assistant to deliver bloc votes for the Governor and the President in 2027.
