By joshua Kubwa College Reaffirms Commitment to Discipline, Academic Excellence and Professionalism
The Provost of Kubwa College of Health Sciences and Technology, Dr. Yakubu El Hassan, has reiterated his commitment to sustaining the discipline, academic excellence, and professionalism for which the institution is known.
Dr. El Hassan made this known during a joint medical outreach organised by the Kubwa College of Health Sciences and Technology in collaboration with the Good Citizens of Nigeria for Empowerment and Development Initiative, a non-governmental organisation committed to humanitarian causes. The outreach was held on Saturday, September 19, 2026, in Dantata District of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The Provost’s statement followed widespread commendation of the professional conduct displayed by students of the College who were deployed to provide medical services during the outreach.
Dr. El Hassan explained that the College remains unwavering in its commitment to academic excellence, professionalism, ethical standards, and global best practices.
He noted that academic excellence, discipline, and professionalism remain the institution’s core values and watchwords, adding that he would continue to ensure that the good reputation the institution has built over the years is sustained.
Speaking on the joint medical outreach, Dr. El Hassan said the collaboration was necessary because the vision of the organisation aligns with that of the College, particularly its commitment to humanitarian service. He added that the outreach was aimed at alleviating the hardship faced by vulnerable members of the community.
Earlier, in an exclusive interview with the press, the Registrar of Kubwa College of Health Sciences and Technology, Dr. Suleiman Musa Muhammed, who is also a member of the non-governmental organisation, said the collaboration was a reflection of the humanitarian disposition that Charactetised the vision of both organisations, particularly their concern for underserved communities and vulnerable populations.
According to the Registrar, students of Kubwa College of Health Sciences and Technology participating in the medical outreach would provide services including consultation, diagnosis, drug dispensing, and other healthcare-related services.
Dr. Suleiman Musa Muhammed also urged residents of the community and beneficiaries of the medical outreach to prioritize sanitation, noting that a clean environment promotes good health and can help prevent diseases such as malaria and other illnesses associated with poor environmental conditions.
