Lokoja Traditional Council Mourns Former Governor Alhaji Ibrahim Idris, Fagaci of lokoja, Commiserates With Family.

Lokoja Local Government Traditional Council has expressed deep shock and profound sadness over the passing of the former Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris, who hold the revered traditional title of Fagaci of Lokoja.

In a condolence message the Maigari described the death of the former Leader as a monumental loss to Kogi State, Lokoja, Lokoja traditional Council, and Nigeria at large.

The Council in particular condoled with Hajiya Aisha Ibrahim Idris, who hold the traditional title of Giwan Matan Lokoja, over the demise of her beloved husband, and extended heartfelt sympathies to the entire Alhaji Ibrahim Idris family, the Government and good people of Kogi State over this irreparable loss,” the statement read.

The Maigari noted that, Alhaji Ibrahim was a statesman of uncommon humility, a bridge-builder and a leader who served Kogi State with dedication, compassion, deep sense of history and laying solid foundations for the development of the state.

The Council prayed that Almighty Allah (SWT) forgive the shortcomings of the late former Governor, accept his good deeds, and grant him Aljanatul Firdaus.

It prays that Allah to grant the family, the Government and people of Kogi State the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
