The National Association of Ebira Students, NAES, has honoured youth advocate and leader, Oladele John Nihi, with an Award of Excellence in recognition of his contributions to youth and student development.
The award was presented on Monday when the National Senate Arm of NAES, led by the Senate President, Comr. Abdulrasheed Adeiza Isah, paid a courtesy visit to him.
Speaking during the presentation, Comr. Isah said the honour was in appreciation of Mr. Nihi’s consistent commitment to advancing the welfare of Ebira students and young people across the country.
In his response, Oladele John Nihi expressed gratitude to the leadership of NAES for the recognition. He described the award as a renewed call to service rather than a destination.
“For me, recognition is not an end in itself but a renewed call to do more in the service of our students and young people,” he stated.
Mr. Nihi reaffirmed his commitment to supporting initiatives that promote student welfare, leadership development, unity, and opportunity for the youth.
He urged student leaders to continue to prioritize unity and constructive engagement as tools for building a stronger community and a better future for Ebira students.
