By joshua KOGI WATER RESOURCES COMMISSIONER FELICITATES SEN. TUNDE OGBEHA ON BIRTHDAY, HAILS HIS LEGACY OF SERVICE AND STATESMANSHIP
The Kogi State Commissioner for Water Resources, on behalf of the Ministry and the entire water sector family in the state, has felicitated Senator Tunde Ogbeha on the auspicious occasion of his birthday, describing him as an exemplary statesman, patriot and a pride of Kogi State and Nigeria.
In a birthday message, the Commissioner described Senator Ogbeha as a rare gem whose life of service, courage and commitment to nation building continues to inspire leaders across generations.
“Today we celebrate a living legend, a soldier of integrity, a bridge builder and a voice of wisdom in our nation. Senator Tunde Ogbeha’s contributions to democracy, national unity, and the development of Kogi State remain indelible,” the Commissioner stated.
The Commissioner noted that Senator Ogbeha’s distinguished career in the Nigerian Army, his tenure as Military Governor of Bendel and Akwa ibom States, and his impactful representation of Kogi West in the Senate, have all reflected a deep commitment to peace, equity and good governance. He added that the Senator’s counsel and mentorship have remained invaluable to the present administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo in its drive to deliver good governance to the people of Kogi State.
On the occasion of his birthday, the Commissioner prayed for God’s continued grace, sound health, wisdom and many more years of service for the elder statesman.
“As you mark another year, we pray that Almighty God grants you renewed strength, divine protection and long life in good health. May your fountain of wisdom continue to flow for the benefit of our dear state and country,” the message added.
The Commissioner further acknowledged Senator Ogbeha’s passion for rural development, security and human capital development, noting that his leadership example aligns with the Ododo administration’s commitment to inclusive growth and the wellbeing of all Kogites.
He concluded by wishing the Senator a joyous celebration surrounded by family, friends and well-wishers, and reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to continue to draw inspiration from his legacies of service, discipline and patriotism.
