By joshua KOGI ADC CONGRATULATES THE PEOPLE ON 35TH ANNIVERSARY
Today, the people of Kogi State mark 35 years since the creation of our beloved Confluence State.
The statement by the state chairman of African Democratic Congress,Hon Tom Zakari in Lokoja noted that from the banks of the Niger and Benue to the hills of Okunland, Ebira land, and Igala land, their resilience, unity, and hard work have shaped Kogi into the heart of Nigeria.
Mr Zakari said as the people of the state celebrate this milestone, there is a need to honor our forebears, our culture, and every Kogite at home and in the diaspora who continues to build.
He prayed that May the coming years bring more peace, prosperity, jobs, and development to every LGA.
He however observed that as we mark this milestone in the history of the state it is very important to remind ourselves that a lot need to be done to bring the state at par with it’s contemporaries in the country.
The State ADC chairman wished the entire people of the state Happy 35 years Anniversary .
