A Socio -Cultural Group, Benin Solidarity Movement Worldwide, BSM, has cautioned against the unnecessary blackmail of Dr. Paddy Iyamu by unscrupulous political elements in the constituency.
The group in a statement signed by
Elder Comrade Curtis Eghosa Ugbo
and Ms Esohe Adun President and
Act: Secretary General, said , “Dr. Paddy Iyamu is a known established businessman based in Warri, Delta State and he has business tiles with Delta State people over the years doesn’t make him forget Ancestorial Root and that he has shown over the years.
According to them, ” the unnecessary blackmail of one of our illustrious Benin Son- Dr. Paddy Iyamu (an APC flag bearer of Oredo Federal Constituency) in the upcoming National Assembly General Election by some unscrupulous political elements in the constituency is unwarranted and should stop.” They warned
“Dr. Paddy Iyamu is a known established businessman based in Warri, Delta State and he has had his businesses tiles with Delta State people over the years doesn’t make him forget Ancestorial Root and that he has shown over the years.”
The group stated further that, Paddy Iyamu was recently tested by the present Edo State Government led by Governor Monday Okpebholo as the Commissioner of Education in the State and he performed creditably well with his good administrative, infrastructural development skills/wealth of experience and knowledge.
We are hereby using this medium to pass a warning to those behind the Blackmail to desist henceforth because we want men of such proof of performance like Dr. Paddy Iyamu in government elective position as this will enable him to bring development to our Benin Kingdom in general and Federal Constituency in particular.
According to them, “everything about Dr. Paddy Iyamu is Benin, his family are Benins and kindly STOP this political Blackmail. They warned.
