Kogi will be hot, live, exciting and scintillating as JUMABEE INSPIRES 7.0 “THE EXPERIENCE” takes over Amusement Park, Lokoja on Saturday, June 21, 2026, at 9:00 PM.
This is not just another concert. This is the moment the city remembers how to breathe. The night Kogi stands up, sings back, and gets rewarded.
From the first bass drop, the Confluence City will feel different. Lights will spill across rooftops, taxis will honk in rhythm, food vendors will hustle faster, and strangers will become a choir. The stage is not just a platform, it is a magnet pulling everyone, students, market women, bankers, mechanics , into one pulse.
World-class sound that rattles your chest. Artists who perform like they have something to prove. And moments built for the crowd, not just the performers.
This year’s takeover is bigger, louder, and more intentional. Headlined by legendary 2Baba, alongside Canada-based DJ Chelsea who is live in the Confluence with surprises for Kogi people, plus Chellaboi and Kogi’s finest homegrown talents, the night promises a full-blown cultural explosion under the stars. Between sets, the energy will not dip because giveaways will be dropping. Phones, cash, food packs, generators, real things that change a week, not just a night. MCs will not just shout “put your hands up,” they will call out names from the audience and change lives before the next song starts.
At the heart of it all is the man behind the movement: Hon. Juwon Owonipa, popularly known as Jumabee, Special Adviser on Arts and Culture to the Kogi State Governor. More than a hitmaker, Jumabee has grown into a music superstar and artist-activist who uses his platform to inspire and uplift young people.
Organized by Jumabee to promote Kogi’s image and celebrate his birthday, Jumabee Inspires has evolved from a concert into a movement for youth development and community change.
Season 7.0 doubles down on impact. 90 free scholarships will be announced live on stage for deserving students across the three senatorial districts, reaffirming Jumabee’s commitment to investing in the future of young Kogites and encouraging excellence through hard work. While his songs top charts, his life tops standards through integrity, socially conscious advocacy, and direct action that gives young people skills and opportunities.
The endorsement list says it all. The “Jumabee Inspires Box” was personally presented to the gaffer himself Chief Muhammed Abubakar Audu, CEO Mediterranean, who officially endorsed Season 7.0. King Moh Adah, Chairman of Ochacho Real Homes, is all in as Kogi makes history this year. Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, National Chairman of the APC party, sent words of encouragement, saying “Jumabee Inspires is beyond a concert, it is about genuineness and value addition to humanity.” As a professor from my alma mater, I’m proud.
