From humble beginnings, Prince Olatunji rose through hard work and discipline to become a respected engineer and business leader. As Chairman of Grosvenor Global Services Limited and Chairman of Tratun Energy Limited, with executive responsibilities at Regions Oil and Gas, he has helped shape Nigeria’s oil, gas, marine logistics, and aviation sectors. His bold investments and ethical business approach earned him the Young Entrepreneur of the Year award from NUJ Warri Branch, with peers describing him as “a builder of institutions and a catalyst for economic growth.”
But it is in philanthropy that his heart shines brightest. At just 29, he founded the Prince Olatunji Olusoji Foundation (PROOF), a platform that has become a lifeline for thousands across Kogi West. Through PROOF, he removed financial barriers for students by sponsoring free JAMB registration for thousands, granting full scholarships to hundreds at Kogi State College of Education Technical Mopa, Kogi State College of Education Technical Anpa, and Amodu Bello College of Agriculture Kabba, and supporting countless others to complete their education. His ₦30 million donation to Anglican College of Nursing and Health Technology Ogidi-Ijumu, where an administration block now bears his name, and his ₦100 million pledge to Vine University Ayere, speak to his belief that education is the greatest equalizer.
His commitment goes beyond funding. He pledged to singlehandedly renovate and modernize all schools in Ayere and employed teachers for public schools in the community, ensuring children learn in dignity. Through monthly welfare support to over 600 elderly citizens, widows, and vulnerable schoolchildren, and through large-scale youth empowerment programs, he has restored hope and dignity to many families. Community leaders often describe him as “a father to the fatherless, a voice for the voiceless, and a bridge between privilege and purpose.”

His humanitarian footprint has earned him over 145 awards and recognitions from government agencies, civil society, and private institutions. Among them are the prestigious Peace Legends Award for Humanitarian Leadership and the Golden Torch of Humanity Award, both celebrating his tireless work for peace and human dignity. In recognition of his contributions to education and development, he has been conferred with honorary doctorate degrees by Vine University and Prince Abubakar Audu University, Ayingba.

Recently welcomed into the All Progressives Congress by Kogi State Governor Usman Ododo, his defection from PDP was hailed by party leaders as “a major boost to APC’s strength in Kogi West and the state.” Prince Olatunji describes politics as “service to your people, service to humanity,” and has publicly endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s economic reforms, expressing confidence that they will curb corruption and unlock sustainable growth.
