By joshua NKFI COMMENCES 2026/2027 POST-UTME SCREENING FOR ND PROGRAMMES, OPENS ADMISSION FOR SHORT-TERM VOCATIONAL TRAINING, AS OBAJANA STUDY CENTRE BEGINS OPERATIONS
The Management of the Nigeria-Korea Friendship Institute of Vocational and Advanced Technology (NKFI), Lokoja, has announced the commencement of its 2026/2027 Post-UTME Screening Exercise for admission into its National Diploma (ND) programmes.
The Institute invites suitably qualified candidates who sat for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and selected NKFI as their first-choice institution, or those willing to effect a change of institution through JAMB, to apply for admission.
According to the Management, admissions are currently open into the following National Diploma (ND) programmes:
1. Automotive Mechatronics Technology
2. Computer Science
3. Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology
4. Welding and Fabrication Engineering Technology
Prospective candidates are advised to complete the necessary admission processes and ensure that all relevant credentials are uploaded through the appropriate channels.
Admissions Open for 2026 Second Batch Vocational Training Programmes
In a related development, the Institute has also announced the commencement of admissions into the Second Batch of its 2026 Short-Term Vocational and Professional Training Programmes, designed to equip participants with practical, industry-relevant and employability skills.

The Study Centre is expected to serve students and trainees from Obajana, Ajaokuta, Kabba-Bunu, Okehi, Adavi, Lokoja and neighbouring areas, thereby expanding access to NKFI’s innovative programmes and industry-focused training opportunities.
According to the Institute, the opening of the Obajana Study Centre represents another milestone in its commitment to making technical and vocational education accessible to more Nigerians while supporting local manpower development and industrial growth.
