El Shettima Agbogun Emerges Unopposed as NDC Candidate for Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency
… Pledges to Prioritize Education, Healthcare, and Roads
Hon. El Shettima Agbogun has been declared the House of Representatives candidate of the Nigerian Democratic Congress, NDC, following the party’s primary election held on Friday.
Agbogun was returned unopposed during the congress, paving the way for him to fly the NDC flag in the upcoming election for the Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency.
In his acceptance speech, the candidate described his emergence as “divine” and said it was the platform he needed to bring real development and smiles to the people of the Constituency.
He assured delegates and supporters of quality representation at the lower Chamber of the National Assembly, with three key priorities: improving access to quality education, strengthening healthcare delivery, and upgrading road infrastructure across the constituency.
Agbogun also described the NDC as “a party for all Nigerians” and urged the people of Kogi to embrace it as the vehicle for good governance and people-oriented leadership.
