
A Delegation of Kogi State Council of Ulama’u of Nigeria led by its Chairman, Sheikh Salman Adam Imam, paid a grand courtesy visit to the newly appointed Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), His Excellency, Ambassador Alhaji Ismail Abbah Yusuf.

The visit is to warmly congratulate, rejoice, felicitate with, pray for him and join him to thank Almighty ALLAH for this prestigious appointment.
Council humbly noted with pride, that this cherished and exalted spiritually-based appointment is a clear manifestation of his distinguished career, unwavering commitment to his administrative excellence and positive contributions to the advancement of ethical development in his chosen life career. It congratulates the entire Muslim Ummah, the good people of North Central and Kogi State in particular for one of their sons to be given this ever meritorious appointment in the history of the Commission since its establishment about twenty-seven years ago.
The Council thanked His Excellency President Ahmad Bola Tinubu GCFR for finding one of our own to be given this enviable and spiritually- based position.
As a body committed to spiritual and moral guidance, the Council is confident that In Shaa ALLAH, His Excellency, Ambassador Ismail will bring his wealth of experience, wisdom and vision to bear in repositioning this spiritually great institution and piloting its affairs to a higher and admirable level to the collective pride of the Ummah.
The Council assured him of its continuous unflinching support, cooperation and fervent prayers in the advancement of the Commission. It calls on the management and staff of the Commission in particular and the entire Ummah in general to support the Chairman so that his aspiration in repositioning the Commission, redeem its battered beautiful image, surmmount its challenges and revamp its lost glory will be fully achieved .

The Commission Chairman expressed his deep joy and appreciation for the wonderful visit. He noted with delight the Council’s support , cooperation and prayers. He assured the delegation of putting in his best effort in making the Commission a far more successful beyond the expectations of all.
