KOCCIMA Gets New Leadership As Dr. Demiloye Akerejola Takes Helm
The Kogi State Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (KOCCIMA) has a new leadership team, with Dr. Demiloye Akerejola emerging as the President.
The disclosure was made at the 2026 Annual General Meeting, where outgoing President Chief Femi Ajisafe, Ph.D, is expected to hand over to the new team at the Annual KOCCIMA conference scheduled for Thursday..
Chief Ajisafe, who served as President from September 26, 2023, highlighted KOCCIMA’s achievements, including hosting the 2023 Kogi Trade Fair, strengthening relationships with NACCIMA, and promoting export opportunities. He urged members to unite in championing businesses and investments in Kogi State.
The new leadership team includes:
– First Deputy President: Comr. Rajan Suleiman
– Second Deputy President: Hon. Ahmed Mohamed
– Vice Presidents: Mr. Jacob Akor, Prince Yahaya, Engr. Dr. Emmanuel Alege, Mr. Nwokike Tochukwu, Dr. Momoh Usman, Mr. Paul Ukwenya, Barr. Ibrahim Yunusa, Alhaji Musa Yusuf, Mr. Lawrence Huleji, Dr. James Odiba, Mr. Peter Onujeme, Abu Micheal, Mrs. Favour Ezejiaku, Prof. Martins Onimisi, Alhaji Abubakar Musa, and Deborah Ojima Edoh.
The outgoing President expressed confidence that the new team would build on KOCCIMA’s achievements and advance its mission to promote business growth, investment development, and economic prosperity in Kogi State and Nigeria.
