Eid-el-Fitri: Kogi Ex. Speaker Felicitates Muslim Faithful, Greets Gov. Ododo.
The Immediate past Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly, Prince Mathew Kolawole has sent his warmest greetings to the Muslim Ummah on the joyous occasion of Eid-el-Fitri.
According to a statement issued to Newsmen, Prince Kolawole
says: “I extend my heartfelt congratulations to our Muslim brothers and sisters for successfully completing the 2026 Ramadan fast in good health and spirits.
May our prayers be answered, and may this celebration bring us closer to Almighty God.
“To the entire Muslim Ummar in Kogi State, especially the good people of Kabba Bunu LGA, I wish you a blissful Eid-el-Fitri celebration! May our homes be filled with love, peace, and happiness.
“To the Government and people of Kogi State, I offer my warmest congratulations and best wishes. May the State leadership continue to bring prosperity and peace to Kogi State.
“I’m indeed optimistic and assured that with the prayers of the faithful, we shall overcome the challenges facing our State. I urge you to sustain your support for President Ahmed Bola Tinubu and Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo’s administration, which has been deliberate and intentional in addressing the needs of citizens.
“Kogi State is a shining example of interfaith harmony, and I commend citizens for this. With our collective prayers and efforts, I’m confident our country will overcome insecurity and build a brighter future.
“As we celebrate Eid-el-Fitri, let’s reflect on the values of compassion, kindness, and generosity that Ramadan instilled in us. Let’s continue to work together towards a more peaceful, prosperous, and united Nigeria.
