Nyamkpa Ruling House Denies Emergence of New Etsu Bassange, Backs Alhaji Yahaya Lerama
Against the background of rumors circulating in the social media that a new Etsu Bassange has emerged.
It might interest you to know that the news is not true, it is a blatant lie from the pit of hell.
As we are all aware, we have two ruling houses which is no longer in contention, with the confirmation of the kangaroo committee yesterday.
The two ruling houses are Etan and Nyamkpa ruling houses. The Etan ruling house, haven had its own turn cannot be the one to produce the new Etsu Bassange.
Automatically, it is the turn of Nyamkpa ruling house and all the descendants have endorsed the candidacy of Alhaji Yahaya Lerama, in Sha Allah as next Etsu of Bassange since there is no contender within the Nyamkpa ruling house.
Attached herewith is the application document of the ascendancy of Late Etsu Abu Ali Mopa III, Rtd. for more clarification and why the next Etsu Bassa Nge should come from Nyamkpa Ruling House.
Furthermore, the process of Etsuship ascension is ongoing, the report has not left the shores of Bassa local government to the ministry of Chieftaincy affairs, therefore, the news of emergence of a new Etsu is a fallacy which was orchestrated by some serial, incura
ble interlopers and busy bodies who are bent on causing chaos having seen the handwriting on the wall that their aim of imposing a candidate on the entire Bassange is being threatened.
An addendum
The committee lacks the capacity to function because other candidates had stated conspicuously that they have no confidence in the committee. Both the Chairman and the Secretary are interested in a particular candidate.
Secondly, the constitution and inauguration of the committee ought to be done by the Bassange traditional council and not the Aguma.
Finally, you would agree with me that it is an aberration for such an announcement of the emergence of a new Etsu at this time that the process is still ongoing.
