Sen. Karimi Sends Happy International Women’s Day to wonderful women of Kogi West Senatorial District.

Today, we celebrate your strength, resilience, and the crucial role you play in shaping the growth and development of our community.
Your unwavering dedication, loyalty, and active participation continue to drive progress, strengthen unity, and support the vision for a better Kogi West Senatorial District.
On this International Women’s Day, I join Nigerians and the global community in celebrating the courage, resilience, and remarkable achievements of women who continue to shape our families, communities, and our nation.
Women remain central to Nigeria’s progress. From the marketplace to the classroom, from the farms to the boardrooms, and from community leadership to public service, Nigerian women demonstrate extraordinary strength, innovation, and commitment to national development.
Today also reminds us that our collective responsibility is not only to celebrate women, but to continue working toward a society where every woman and girl has access to education, economic opportunity, quality healthcare, and equal participation in leadership and decision-making.
As a nation, we must strengthen policies and initiatives that promote gender inclusion, protect the rights and dignity of women, and create opportunities for them to realise their full potential. When women thrive, families prosper, communities grow stronger, and our nation moves forward.
I salute the countless Nigerian women whose sacrifices, leadership, and dedication continue to inspire hope and drive progress across our country.
To all the women of Kogi West, our mothers, daughters, sisters, and leaders, thank you for your strength, your sacrifices, and your role in building our communities.
Kindly be rest assured that my representation will continue to make provisions for women. Recalled that the veritable place you occupy is reason behind my constant empowerment and intervention. I’m indeed committed to continuing to serve our women and Youths like never before.
Happy International Women’s Day to all our mothers, daughters, sisters, and leaders. Your strength and contributions remain invaluable to the future of our nation.
Sen. Sunday Karimi, Senator Representing, Kogi West Senatorial District.
