58 Staff Allegedly Suspended Over Corruption Claims at Steel Ministry Agency.

A petition has been filed with the Federal Government and the Nigerian public, alleging the mass suspension of 58 staff members at an agency under the Federal Ministry of Steel Development.

The suspended employees, including senior engineers, principal metallurgists, directors, geologists, accountants, and administrative officers, reportedly raised concerns over corruption within the organization.

The petition, addressed to THEANALYSTMEDIA and copied to relevant oversight institutions and labour unions, lists the names, designations, and departments of the affected staff members.

They were suspended from critical units including Metallurgy, Engineering Services, Human Resources, and Finance & Accounts, among others.

The suspended staff claim their actions were aimed at promoting accountability and transparency, and are now seeking redress and justice.

The petition calls for an investigation into the circumstances surrounding their suspension and urges the authorities to address the alleged corruption issues within the agency.
