A MESSAGE OF DEEP GRATITUDE AND RENEWED COMMITMENT
On behalf of myself and my entire family, I wish to express our profound and heartfelt appreciation to everyone who stood with us during the painful passing of my elder brother — a man who was not just a brother to me, but a father, mentor, and pillar of strength.
In moments of grief, words often fail, but your presence, prayers, and unwavering support reminded us that we do not walk alone.
I sincerely appreciate the Kogi State Government for standing with us in solidarity and compassion. Your show of concern and honour during our time of mourning will never be forgotten.
To the Kogi Electricity Commission and the management of Ajaokuta Steel Company, thank you for your support and for identifying with my family in this difficult moment.
I am deeply grateful to the Chief Imam of Ebiraland for his prayers and spiritual leadership, and to HRM, the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, who was ably represented. Your royal support brought comfort and strength to our family.
My appreciation also goes to the entire Traditional Council, led by its Chairman, HRH Isa Achuja Musa, also HRH the Adogu of Eganyi, Mohamed Adanbe who stood solidly by us. I also want to appreciate my own Fathers Adeika of Eziede of Eganyi HRH AUDU O ADOMU and Adeika of Ezionogu of Ogaminana HRH Shaibu Aliyu. Your solidarity reflects the unity and cultural strength of our land. When tradition stands with you, you know you are truly not alone.
To our vibrant youths, our resilient women, friends, associates, political allies, and every well-wisher who called, visited, prayed, and supported us in one way or another — we are deeply grateful. Your love was overwhelming. Your kindness was healing. Your presence was reassuring.
Losing my elder brother has left a void that cannot be filled. However, the outpouring of love from across Kogi State and beyond has strengthened our resolve.
I want to assure you all that this painful loss will not deter me from serving our community. Rather, it strengthens my commitment. I will continue to serve with dedication, integrity, and passion — in a way that will make my late brother proud even in the grave.
We do not take your support for granted. We will never forget your show of love.
May the Almighty reward you abundantly.
