A Call to Prayer and Unity: Aminu Abubakar Aminu Wishes Kogi East a Blessed Ramadan and Lent.

Qs Aminu Abubakar Aminu, a prominent Senatorial District Aspirant for Kogi East under the banner of the African Democratic Congress, has extended his warmest greetings to Muslim and Christian faithful in Kogi East on the occasion of the 2026 Ramadan and Lenten season.
As the crescent moon heralds the start of Ramadan, and Christians prepare to observe the sacred period of Lent, Aminu Abubakar Aminu urges all to seize this momentous occasion to reflect on the values of compassion, forgiveness, and unity that underpin these two great faiths.
“This is a time for us to come together, as people of different faiths and backgrounds, to pray for the peace, stability, and prosperity of our beloved nation, Nigeria, and particularly our Senatorial District, Kogi East,” Aminu said.
He emphasized that the coincidence of Ramadan and Lent is a divine reminder of the importance of unity and peaceful coexistence, and urged all to use this period to pray for a peaceful election in Kogi East and Nigeria at large.
“We must pray for our leaders, that they may be guided by the principles of justice, equity, and fairness, and that they may prioritize the welfare and interests of our people above all else,” Aminu said.
Aminu also used this opportunity to call on all Nigerians, particularly those in Kogi East, to remain committed to the values of tolerance, understanding, and mutual respect, which have been the hallmark of our great nation.
“As we fast, pray, and reflect, let us also rededicate ourselves to building a Nigeria that is just, equitable, and prosperous for all, where every citizen has access to quality education, healthcare, and economic opportunities,” he added.
Aminu further prayed for the people of Kogi East, wishing them a blessed Ramadan and Lent, and hoping that the holy month brings spiritual growth, peace, and prosperity to all.
“We pray that Allah accepts our fasts, prayers, and good deeds, and brings us closer to Him. May this Ramadan be a period of spiritual rejuvenation and renewal for all Muslims in Kogi East and Nigeria,” Aminu said.
He also extended his felicitations to his fellow Christians, wishing them a blessed Lenten season, and praying that their fasting and prayers may be accepted by God.
As the people of Kogi East prepare to celebrate these two great faiths, Aminu Abubakar Aminu reaffirmed his commitment to serving the people, and urged all to join him in praying for a peaceful and prosperous Kogi East, and a Nigeria that is blessed with peace, stability, and prosperity for all.
“Let us pray for each other, that we may live in peace, harmony, and mutual respect, and that our diversity becomes a source of strength and unity for Nigeria,” Aminu concluded.
