Following a series of high-octane performances at the Igala Youth Assembly in Lokoja, Oma Igala Night in Abuja, and the Ajaka Carnival, North Central Nigeria’s creative icon BABA OJONUGWA J.F.O is set to release the highly anticipated single “UFELE” this February.
The track reimagines a classic Igala folk tale about a flutist returning to his farm for a lost instrument.
By layering traditional melodies over a contemporary Afrobeat and Amapiano fusion, the song serves as both a dance floor filler and a vessel for didactic political commentary.
UFELE a complete Afro dance song is the bonus track in the BABYLON TRY album which is an eleven track complete reggae album, why would an Afro song be in a reggae album we wonder?
