LOKOJA LG CHAIRMAN ORDERS TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF WORSHIP CENTERS DUE TO SECURITY REPORTS

The Lokoja Local Government Administration has received intelligence security reports indicating potential threats to public safety within places of worship outside the metropolis.

In light of this, I hereby direct the temporary closure of all worship centers of all faith outside the metropolis, effective immediately. This precautionary measure aims to protect congregants especially in the suburban isolated and mountains.

This measure is to ensure the safety and security of citizens. Alternative arrangements, such as online services, should be explored.

We urge citizens to cooperate and remain vigilant.
