Lokoja Community Urges Ododo to Appoint Dr. Aminu as Kogi Poly Rector
The people of Lokoja are calling on Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo to give them the Rectorship of Kogi Polytechnic, Lokoja, citing their long-standing support for the institution.
They are backing Dr. Aminu Isah, a seasoned academic with impressive credentials, including a PhD and over 20 years of teaching experience.
“Give us the Rectorship, we’ve hosted the Polytechnic for too long,” they appeal, emphasizing Dr. Aminu’s ability to boost the institution’s growth.
They assured Gov. Ododo that aside Dr. Aminu Isah, having the requisite qualifications, he has the capacity to sustain the trajectory of the Polytechnic as envisioned by the administration of Gov Ododo, in making the Polytechnic an envy.
DR. ISA AMINU HOLDS B.Sc.,M.Sc, MBA and PhD. He is also a chartered Accountant with Chief interest in Public Finance and Petroleum Tax.
They added that he has almost two decades of classroom experiences in teaching, research and publications.
They mentioned some his publications to have appeared in the American Journal of Political scientists with over 1000 viewers.
They described Dr. Aminu as a dedicated lecturer in the Department of Political Science Federal University of Lokoja, Kogi state Nigeria.
The statement added that he is one of the big fishes in the intellectual engine room of the ancient city of LOKOJA and it environs.
The Lokoja Indigenous people therefore appeal to Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo to on merit and in the spirit of fairness, said his appointment will allow for a sense of belonging amongst the host community.
