PAAU Celebrates 25 Years of Excellence, Unveils 7th Combined Convocation Ceremony Program.
Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU) is set to celebrate its 7th Combined Convocation Ceremony,,
25th Anniversary from January 21 to 24, 2026.
The event promises to be a milestone, showcasing the university’s growth and achievements under the leadership of Vice-Chancellor Prof. Marietu Ohunene ‘Tenuche.
Some of the notable achievements include:
– Academic Excellence: Introduction of 12 new academic programmes, such as Applied Geophysics, Cyber Security, and Data Science
– Uninterrupted Academic Calendar: No strike actions or delayed results
– Research and Partnerships:
A $205,000 ARISE grant won by Dr. Emmanuel Amulabu for Central Laboratory upgrade and strategic partnerships with Saint Petersburg Mining University, Russia
– Infrastructure Development: Improved security, academic discipline, and infrastructure development

26,160 students are set to receive First Degrees across five academic sessions.
The convocation ceremonies will feature notable events, including a book presentation, 25th Anniversary Lecture, and Commissioning of projects.
