Commemorating Two Years of HRM Dr. Saidu Akawu Salihu’s Reign
A special prayer session and recitation of the Holy Quran were held at the Ohimegye palace to mark two years since HRM Dr. Saidu Akawu Salihu ascended the throne of Koton Karfe Kingdom. The event was followed by a walimat.
Notable attendees included the Ohi-Egba of Mozum, Alh Bukar, alongside other prominent sons and daughters of the kingdom and well-wishers.
During the Dua, the Ohi-Egba of Mozum prayed for HRM Dr. Saidu Akawu Salihu and the Egbura-speaking kingdoms, wishing his Majesty a long and prosperous reign.
In response, his Majesty thanked the people for their dedication to peace and unity in Egbura and prayed for their safe return home.
