The aides to Kabiru Onimisi Atta, the leading APC aspirant for Adavi Okehi Federal Constituency, have commended former Governor Yahaya Bello for laying a solid foundation for the state’s socio‑economic development, describing him as the “builder of modern Kogi.”
In a New Year felicitation message signed by the group’s coordinator, Maleeq Vanguard, the aides expressed warm wishes to the former governor as they welcomed 2026.
They highlighted his “outstanding contributions” to building a modern Kogi and noted that the current administration, led by Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, is building on Bello’s achievements and the renewed hope the new year brings.
The statement acknowledged the challenges of 2025, thanking God for guidance and the successes recorded, and called for Bello’s “solomonic wisdom and advice” to continue guiding the state’s development.
The aides also announced that their principal, Alhaji Kabiru Onimisi Atta, “a man of many parts” with a notable public and private track record, has entered the race to represent Adavi Okehi Federal Constituency.
They emphasized that Atta draws strength from Bello’s footsteps, viewing him as a mentor and political godfather, while asserting his own popularity and readiness to reposition the constituency if elected.
Concluding the message, they prayed for Allah’s continued wisdom, strength, and good health for Yahaya Bello as he serves Nigeria and Kogi State, and wished him a healthy, prosperous, and impactful New Year.
