
QS Aminu Abubakar Suleiman to Be Honored with 2025 Distinguished Community Service Award

Aminu Abubakar Suleiman, a leading aspirant for the Kogi East ADC Senatorial District, will tomorrow, Friday, be presented with the 2025 Distinguished Community Service Award (DCSA).
The award, instituted by the Ogba Community Development Union (OCDU), celebrates his outstanding contributions to human‑capital development, community service, and humanitarian work across Nigeria, Kogi State, Mozum land, and Ogba Community.
The ceremony will be chaired by Prof. Stephen I. Ocheni, former Minister of State for Labour and Employment.
The Special Guest of Honour will be *lAlhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo, Governor of Kogi State and Grand Commander of Ogba Chiefdom.
Other notable attendees expected at the event include Prof. S.D. Musa, Deputy Vice‑Chancellor (Academic) of Federal University Lokoja, serving as Guest Speaker; HRH (Alh.) Khalid Ali Bukar, 11 Ohi Mozum of Mozum Land, as Royal Father of the Day; and Hon. Theophilus Adama Daruwana, Executive Chairman of Bassa Local Government Area, as Chief Host.
In a statement issued by Dr. Ishaq Dan-Imam, PhD, President‑General of OCDU, and Hon. (Prince) Mohammed Sulieman, Secretary‑General of OCDU, the union expressed its pleasure in recognizing QS Aminu’s dedication and impact. The award underscores his “exemplary track record of public service and significant contributions to community development,” marking a milestone in his commitment to societal betterment.
