‘Don’t Be Tools of Destruction’ GACMY Kogi State Coordinator, Benjamin Jeremiah Ojodale Cautions Youths After Ejiba Church Attack.

The Kogi State Coordinator, Global Association of Christian and Muslim Youths for Peace and Development, Benjamin Jeremiah Ojodale, has tasked youths to strive towards peace and development, urged youths in Kogi and Nigeria not to allow themselves to be used for kidnap and other forms of violence and act inimical to a sane society.
The Coordinator made the call in a statement, condemned the recent attack on a church in Ejiba, which led to the abduction of unspecified number of worshippers.
Describing the incident as “unfortunate,” Ojodale noted that such acts are carried out by misguided youths, not elders, stressed that hard work and good name should be their priority and not the quick get rich syndrome.
The Coordinator praised Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo for his security efforts in the State, noting that despite pockets of insecurity, Kogi State still remains one of Nigeria’s most peaceful states.
The Coordinator also announced plans to boost interfaith dialogue and organize events that will foster unity and understanding.
He prayed for the successful release of the abductees, expressed confidence in the Federal and State Government’s ability to secure the unconditional release of those in captivity.
