Don’t be distracted by Leke Abejide’s antics, ADC made him who he is today — Kingsley Ogah, ADC chairman tells party Excos

The Kogi State Chairman of the African Democratic Congress, Kingsley Temitope Ogah described Leke Abejide, member representing Yagba federal constituency as a political orphan that nobody knew until ADC packaged him and made him what he is today.

Addressing all the 21 party chairmen and zonal leaders of the party in lokoja on Wednesday, the party chairman said in 2015 Leke Abejide contested for the Reps primaries in PDP and APC and lost until he came begging before he was given the ADC ticket which said the party laboured for him to win.

He also said in 2019 the party also gave him the ticket on a platter of gold without him paying for any nomination form, only for him now to be ridiculing the party that threw him to political limelight saying this amounts to a man biting the fingers that fed him .

Kingsley Ogah claimed that Abejide was bent in destroying the ADC just as Nyeson Wike destroyed the PDP saying by actions and utterances he has attacked prominent personalities in the party like Senator David Mark, Senator Tunde Ogbeha and Senator Dino Melaye describing him as a political Lilliputian challenging a giant stressing he is bound to crash like a pack of cards

While reiterating that Leke Abejide remains suspended from the party, he urged the party executives not to be distracted by his utterances saying there’s no ADC factions in the state ‘but a group of dissenters who are mere noise makers chasing the shadows ”

Kingsley Ogah urged the party members in the state to remain focus and resolute saying ADC will certainly win the presidency come 2027 as Nigerians are tired of the ruling party.

He urged the party leaders to move from ward to ward to sensitize the people on the need to do their voters registration and to collect their voters cards.
He noted that ADC was already rooted in kogi state having came third in the last gubernatorial election and said the party will spring surprises in the next local government councils election if fairness and transparency is upheld.
