Former Kogi Assembly Deputy Speaker, Hon. Akuh, Congratulates Kogi PDP Chairman, Sues For Confidence Building.
Hon. Aliyu Akuh, former Omala Lawmaker and Deputy Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly, has congratulated Hon. Muhammed Sanni Gambo on his emergence as the Kogi State Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, urged him to quickly put in place efforts at confidence building and repositioning the State PDP.
The Former Deputy Speaker made the disclosure when he received the Chairman on a courtesy visit, urged the Chairman to preside over a Party where everyone would be given equal opportunity, pointing out that it is God that gives power.
The former Lawmaker described the PDP as the Party that places the interest of the people at heart, urged the Chairman not to allow differences separate him from reaching out to all shades in his quest at building and repositioning PDP in the State.
Hon. Akuh, commended the Chairman’s steps of reaching out to critical stakeholders of the Party, said it would enhance confidence building amongst members of the PDP.
He paid glowing tributes to former Gov. Alhaji Ibrahim Idris for building a PDP in the State that offered democracy dividends to the people, congratulated the Chairman on his emergence.
In his remarks, Hon. Muhammed Sanni Gambo described Hon. Akuh as a unique leader, truthful and sincere in his dealings with people, said his visit was to reach out to critical stakeholders towards rebuilding the PDP.
The State Chairman sought the support of all aggrieved members of the Party, said his mission and vision is to reunite the PDP and make it a Party of envy.
Hon. Muhammad described the building of a virile PDP as a task for all and not a one man business, appealed to all members of the Party who are aggrieved to come back to the fold, said it would no longer be business as usual.
Highlights of the visit was prayers offered by the former Deputy Speaker for the successful tenure of the Chairman and the PDP in the State.
