‎In a remarkable display of integrity, leadership, and true comradeship, the immediate past Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Kogi State Chapter, Comrade Benjamin Ojodale, has officially handed over the Council’s official Sienna car and other properties to the newly elected Chairman, Comrade Abdulraman Abdulmumini, in Lokoja.

‎Performing the symbolic handover ceremony, Comrade Ojodale expressed profound gratitude to the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, for his inspirational leadership and commitment to youth development in the state. He also appreciated all former members of the Council for their cooperation, unity, and collective efforts toward advancing the youth agenda in Kogi State.

‎According to him, “I am happy to be part of this transformational era under the leadership of His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo. What we are witnessing today reflects the leadership virtues of our Governor that every tenure must have an end, and continuity is key to progress. I am proud to hand over to a new Chairman who will continue from where we stopped, ensuring that the activities of the Youth Council remain progressive and impactful.”

‎He further noted that unlike in the past when no single property was handed over to him, his administration has set a new standard by handing over essential council assets including a Sienna car, generator, table tennis board, and relevant official documents to the incoming leadership, emphasizing the importance of accountability and continuity.

‎In his response, the new Chairman, Comrade Abdulraman Abdulmumini, expressed deep appreciation to his predecessor for his exemplary leadership and selflessness. He pledged to build on the solid foundation laid by Comrade Ojodale and promised to sustain the unity and progress of the Council.

‎“I sincerely appreciate your guidance and leadership. I will ensure that the vision you championed continues, and I hope you’ll always keep your doors open for consultation and mentorship,” he stated.

‎The ceremony was graced by dignitaries including the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on NYCM Matters, Comrade Samson Onoja among others.

‎Highlight of the event was the official photograph session with the Council executives, symbolizing unity, peace, and continuity of leadership.
