The Kogi State Commissioner For Solid Minerals and Natural Resources Engr Bashiru Gegu has described Itochi, the traditional attire of the Egbura people, as a symbol of rich cultural heritage and identity.
Engr. Bashiru made the disclosure at the 2nd edition of Barr Galadima’s Itochi Launching and Prize Giving Ceremony! Itochi, the traditional attire of the Egbura people.
According to Engr Bashiru, “It was an honor to attend the 2nd edition of Barr Galadima’s Itochi Launching and Prize Giving Ceremony! Itochi, the traditional attire of the Egbura people, is a symbol of our rich cultural heritage and identity.
I want to appreciate all true sons and daughters of our land, the Egbura land, for showing commitment to the growth and development of our land. Your efforts to promote our culture and traditions are truly commendable.
As the Kogi State Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources and a proud son of the soil, I’m proud to be part of this journey and I’m committed to contributing to the development of our state. As a token of my love for our land, I make a donation of N5 million to support this noble initiative.
