Kogi State Commissioner for Environment and Ecological Management, Engr. Oluwasegun Joseph has commiserated with his colleague, Asiwaju Idris Asiru, Hon. Commissioner of Finance, Budget and Economic Planning, and the former executive Chairman, Yagba East Local Government, Hon. Asiru Abdulrazaq. In a statement made available to the press, the Yagba West political figure said,
“I am deeply saddened to hear about the passing of your father, Alh. Asiru Ijagbemi.
On behalf of the entire Kogi State Ministry of Environment and Ecological Management, I extend my genuine condolences to you and your family during this difficult time. May the Almighty Allah grant your late father’s soul peace and grant you the strength to bear this irreparable loss, as reminded in the Holy Qur’an, “Every soul will taste death”

Your father’s legacy will live on through the values and principles he instilled in you.
His impact on your life and the lives of those around him will never be forgotten. May the memories of his love, guidance, and support bring you comfort and peace.
As the Qur’an says, “And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient.”

During this challenging time, please know that you have the support of your colleagues and friends in the Kogi State government. May God grant you patience and strength as we pray for the deceased soul’s peaceful rest. I want you to always dwell on thought from this very verse of the holy Qur’an “To Allah we belong and to Him is our return”.

May Alh. Ijagbemi’s soul rests in perfect peace, and may you find solace in the love and memories you shared.
I pray that Allah grants you and your family patience and strength during this difficult time. May the legacy of your father live on through you, and may his memory be a blessing to you and those around you.

Sincerely,
Engr. Joseph Oluwasegun,
Kogi State Commissioner for Environment and Ecological Management.
