Positive benefits of Accountant General Council tours

No doubt the first woman Accountant General in Kogi state, Hajia Habiba Oyiza Tijani Onumoko is breaking the jinx of accountability in public office. She is today making the difference in ensuring that the state resources are well utilized in the various areas they are dispensed to.
At the moment Hajia Habiba Oyiza Tijani Onumoko is embarking on tour of the twenty one Council Areas in the state. The tour some says is a thank you visit to workers and people living at the grassroots while others says it is a tour as the Chief Accountant of the state to have a first hand information on the happenings in Council Areas in the state.
What is very important and very germane is that, since the creation of Kogi State over three decades ago, no Accountant General of the state has seen the vision to get in touch with the people living at the grassroots. That Hajia Habiba Oyiza Tijani Onumoko has today taken the courage to embark on such a tortuos tour of twenty one Council Areas in the state deserves an applause.
Hajia Habiba Oyiza Tijani Onumoko is a very hard working Accountant General. Ordinarily she could have decided to stay in the comfort of her office in Lokoja and turn a blind eye on the happenings in Council Areas. But she is not a public officer without the feelings of the people in rural areas.
For those who have been following the tour, they will discover that in each of the Local Government Area that the Accountant General has visited so far, she has received a warm reception. The people have proven to the AG that her positive input in the administration of Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo is well acknowledged. In many of the areas she has visited the people have also told her that they also acknowledged her resilience and dedication during the erstwhile administration of His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello. She is therefore being seen as a public officer who has excelled in daunting tasks which many men have failed. Indeed she is today the cynosure of the people in rural and urban areas of Kogi State.
Hajia Habiba Oyiza Tijani Onumoko is a passionate public officer. She strongly believes in hard work and passion to excel in public service. She lives her life by example and today she has many people who acknowledged her contributions to the development of the state.
Hajia is a feminine loyal public officer. She was loyal throughout the tenure of former Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello and today her loyalty has continued to show in the administration of His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo. Wherever she goes she has continued to call on the people of the state to show loyalty to the administration of His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo. She is a public officer in whom many today are admiring so deeply to emulate.
Hajia Habiba Oyiza Tijani Onumoko is a public officer with great humility. Her current tour of Council Areas in the state would remain to be a positive point for people to continue to emulate for a long time to come.
Kogi people are today lucky to have Hajia Habiba Oyiza Tijani Onumoko as the Accountant General of the state who has continued to identify herself with the feelings of the people. She is a well groomed family person. Her positive attributes in the state are heart touching and the people of the state are seeing it.
Hajia Habiba Oyiza Tijani Onumoko is a passionate mother, a mother with great milk of human kindness to the people of Kogi State.
