“Obatoyinbo’s Life of Service Will Remain a Guiding Light” – Karimi
The Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District, Sunday Steve Karimi, has commiserated with the family, friends, associates, and the entire Iyamoye community of Ijumu Local Government Area over the passing of Alhaji (Dr.) Abdul-Ganiyu Obatoyinbo, whom he described as an exemplary public servant, philanthropist, and successful businessman.
In a personally signed condolence message, Senator Karimi recalled his over three decades of personal relationship with the deceased, describing him as a mentor and elder brother figure who played a significant role in his electoral journey.
“Alhaji Obatoyinbo was my big Egbon and a pillar of support for more than 30 years. His life of service, generosity, and faith illuminated the path for many,” the Senator stated.
He urged the family and community to find comfort in the lasting legacy and cherished memories left behind, praying Allah to grant the soul of the departed Aljanatul Firdaus and give the bereaved the fortitude to bear the loss.
