Late Momoh Sani gave Kogi a leader’s leader in Gov. Ododo

When a child misbehaves society looks back to the family background and when a child exhibits good and exceptional traits, the society too looks back to the family background and his immediate community.
In every society family backgrounds are very germane in the upbringing of children. No one can doubt the fact that in most cases the traits children display in public often have direct bearing to parental upbringing.
The upbringing of His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo is firmly connected to his family background. Right from the moment he came on board in the administration of former governor Yahaya Adoza Bello as the Auditor General for Local Government in the state, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo displayed rare leadership qualities. He became a silent achiever throughout the period he piloted the office of the Local Government Auditor General.
It is on record that as the then Local Government Auditor General, he operated an open door policy. He became accessible to all his staff members and members of the public who visits the office for various official engagements.
Till the time he left the office and was elevated as the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo left positive legacies of welfarism and positive interactions with his workers.
Suffice it to say here that the traits His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo kept displaying in office till date have their roots from his humble family background which is traceable to his father, Alhaji Momoh Sani Ododo.
As the people of Kogi State and Nigeria at large mourn the demise of Alhaji Momoh Sani Ododo, it is right to say here that his life time on planet earth was very fulfilling. He instilled discipline, respect, love and fear of Allah in his children. The result of his hardwork and resilience in his family life is today been seen in the personality of His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo.
Let the truth be told that His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo perhaps wouldn’t have achieved his current feat as the Executive Governor of Kogi State if his family background was never rooted in love, hardwork, discipline and fear of Allah which he firmly imbibed from his late father.
Suffice it also to say here that the late Alhaji Momoh Sani Ododo is not only resting well but very peacefully beyond the skies. His Soul would continue to rest eternally gloriously because of the positive legacies he built and left behind in his family.
To Kogi people, Nigerians and to my humble and amiable Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo I wish to humbly say WEEP NOT. Our Daddy is resting well and he will continue to rest peacefully in the blossom of Allah.
Even in death Kogi people would ever be rooted in abiding love for our great Daddy, Alhaji Momoh Sani Ododo.
