KOGI STATE PDP YOUTH LEADER SENDS HAPPY INTERNATIONAL YOUTH DAY FELICITATION MESSAGE

Today, I join millions around the world to celebrate the incredible journey of our youth. This year’s International Youth Day reminds us, as leaders, of a simple truth that we must help the younger generation discover their talents, grow their skills, and succeed in whatever path they choose.
People often say “the youth are the leaders of tomorrow.” I’ve never agreed with that. I believe the youth are the leaders of today leading right now and shaping the future with every step they take.
Our young people are the dreamers, the innovators, and the builders of a better Nigeria. Their energy keeps our nation alive, and their vision points us toward progress. But celebrating them is not enough. We must also give them the space, tools, and opportunities to turn their potential into real achievements.
Any nation that sidelines its young people is not just slowing down its growth it’s writing its own obituary. That’s why the government must create an environment where the youth can truly thrive. No serious country underestimates the power of its young generation.
From 1999 to 2015, under the PDP-led Federal Government, many opportunities were created for young people to achieve their dreams. I urge our youth to keep pushing for good governance and to stand by the People’s Democratic Party — a party that believes in unlocking the greatness in our youth.
