It has been gathered from a reliable source that there is strong evidence in the early hours of Tuesday that important stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) may have shortlisted five of the party’s presidential aspirants for consideration by President Buhari.

It will interest you to note that Governors of the All Progressives Congress had on Monday engaged in a series of horse-trading, separately holding meetings along with their regional composition and also meeting the National Chairman of the party, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, and then other members of the National Working Committee NWC.

It has been gathered from a reliable source that the Progressive Northern Governors. have first trimmed the number of aspirants they are taking to PMB to 5 (Osinbajo, Fayemi, Tinubu, Amaechi & Umahi). They have trimmed further to 3 (Osinbajo, Amaechi & Tinubu) so that President Muhammadu Buhari can make his pick one of them to become the consensus candidate of the party.
