A former National President of National Association of Okun Students (NAOS NATIONAL), Jacob Abraham Damilare has sent felicitation to Usman Ogbo PhD, the Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic as he marks his one year in office anniversary.

The student leader in his congratulatory message made available to the public, said Dr. Usman Ogbo is an uncommon Rector whose giant strides in the citadel of learning are responsible for the unusual silence of critics within and outside the State.

“Dr. Usman Ogbo has left critics disappointed particularly those who faulted his nomination cum appointment as Rector by the level of facelift he has given the institution both in areas of Infrastructural developments, digital advancement and in the prioritization of students’ welfare packages”.

“The choice of Dr. Ogbo by His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Bello the Executive Governor of Kogi State has in no doubt yielded to the positive transformation of Kogi State Polytechnic into a World-class standard ready to compete with other institutions across the country”.

Abraham noted that having Dr. Ogbo in Kogi State Polytechnic is a crystal example of placing a round peg in a round hole. He has within the period of 365 days in office proven not to be a choice in error.

It therefore gives the students community the utmost pleasure to congratulate you and further wish you well even as the journey towards doing more for Kogi State Polytechnic and Kogi State students community in particular forges ahead.
