The Executive Chairman of Okene Local Government, Engr. Abdulrazaq Muhammad on Thursday paid royal homage to the paramount ruler of Ebiraland and Acting President, Kogi State Council of Chiefs, HRM, Dr Ado Ibrahim (CON) to seek royal blessings as he begin the administration of the council area. The Chairman was accompanied by his Vice, Mrs Bilikisu Aliyu, the eleven ward councilors and some aides.
In his address, Hon. Abdulrazaq acknowledged the unique roles played by the reverred monarch in ensuring peace and tranquility in his Kingdom, saying his administration will continue to explore the monarch’s rich heritage and virtues in his quest to sustain the peaceful coexistence enjoy by the people of the area.
Responding, the royal father thanked the Chairman and his entourage for the visit, stating that the new council boss has always enjoy the blessings and support of the traditional institution during his tenure as administrator due to his humility, ability to secure life and property in his domain and of course, respect for traditional rulers.
